My name is Kali Henderson and I am the founder and owner of Happiness Therapy Center. I have a background in speech therapy, a master’s in special education, I’m a Certified Autism Specialist and a Reiki practitioner. I created HTC to support neurodivergent children and their family. I believe that by providing an array of therapies we are treating the whole-child rather than the disability. By addressing each child’s strengths, difficulties and energy we can learn about what the child needs and work as a team to provide treatment therapy that works.
Hi! My name is Erin; I am an occupational therapist. I am passionate about creating fun, child-centered treatment sessions to help each kiddo realize their potential. I focus on working with children to build on their personal strengths to overcome challenges — guiding the child to find increased confidence in their abilities.
I have a doctorate in occupational therapy from Creighton University and a background working with children of all ages and abilities. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, camping, hiking, snowboarding — almost anything in the beautiful outdoor spaces of Colorado!
Tori is from Atlanta, GA and moved to Denver at the beginning of 2020. She received her bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Psychology and is passionate about healing, mental health, and the therapeutic effects that nature, art, mindfulness, and yoga have on humans — no matter the age.
Tori has worked with children of all ages since 2004 and began her teaching journey in 2014 through managing a children’s art studio. Since then, she has taught as an assistant teacher in two preschools, led the youth program at a community art center, and taught drawing classes to children in after-school programs. She also spent 5 years volunteering and working as an administrative assistant and art teacher with a non-profit that provides art therapy-based programming to impoverished and homeless children around the world; she has had the honor of creating and leading empowering art experiences for children in both Atlanta and in Ethiopia.
In her personal life, Tori is a professional painter and muralist, empowers women through intuitive art experiences, practices and teaches yoga and meditation, listens to live music, and spends time outside to appreciate the wonders of our natural world.
Tori shares her skills in marketing and design to support the Happiness Therapy Center and is happy to be part of the HTC team!
My name is Abby and I moved from Maine to the beautiful state of Colorado! I moved here for the beautiful mountains, and have taken advantage of them with lots of hiking and skiing. I am an occupational therapist and mostly administer therapy sessions and evaluation at HTC’s office in Denver. I also work for a home health company in Denver with kiddos ages birth-21. I absolutely love the work I do and I’m excited to work with your child! I enjoy being a part of the Happiness Therapy Center and the unique therapy we provide!
